Swanson Regional Orthotic & Prosthetic Research Center has developed the
RapidFit Method to improve patient care for lower limb amputees.

The Bionix Prosthetic Solutions introduces a great new product for active amputees that provides more control and stability by giving amputees extra help in kicking out their prosthetic foot while walking or running. It stores and releases energy at the peak of heel rise similar to the lengthening contracture of the quadriceps muscle group during knee flexion. Our adjustable positioning allows the amputees\ to control tension of the band while walking, sitting, or running.

Improved control of knee joint during stance and swing phases.
Helps prevent a flexion moment at hell strike
Assists in swing phase control of knee joint by storing and releasing energy enabling amputees to walk on inclines more safely, ascend and descend stairs more safely, and kick foot through small obstructions in walking paths.
