At Swanson Regional Orthotic and Prosthetic Research Centers, our mission is to provide superior patient care which is compassionate, cost effective and results in positive patient outcomes. Since 1980, Swanson has been designing and manufacturing artificial limbs, braces and foot orthotics. The Swanson staff constantly strive to develop advancements and innovative design for the benefit of our patients who wear orthotic and prosthetic devices. Swanson is the only facility in the area that uses Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing Technology (CAD/CAM) in our process. The benefits to the patient include fitting, improved comfort and quicker turn around.

Because we understand that being fitted for a prosthesis or orthosis can be a unique experience, we have developed a process designed to make the experience pleasant and rewarding. Our goal is to facilitate a higher quality of living for each one of our patients.
